Harhar lots of puns going on there. Wonton of course does NOT derive from chuan tan mian. But what the hell is chuan (whole) tan (egg) mian anyway?

Guess stall was not advertising about its dumplings ('wonton') but the type of noodle which ingredient is mainly/wholly eggs. Make sense?

Alright, all this talk of egg noodles makes me think we need to sample this stall's wares. It's on most tables outside Nam Chuan everytime we hit the Bangsar morning market.
