The Star newspaper picked up our recent post on fish head curry and assam prawns at Subang Jaya's Ah Lye restaurant. Not sure what attracted their attention about this particular post, but we do appreciate the publicity. Thanks Star!

Thanks to a certain generous Eating Asia writer, we're meeting with local chowhounds - professional and otherwise - whose work we admire. We expect this to be one excellent trip, with lots of fantastic food finds. We know there's gold here, and we don't expect to have to dig much to find it. Good work

Great job. U2 are awesome! It's hard to find Caucasians who are so adventurous when it comes to Asian food. May I suggest that you try out this Steamed Fish Head place in Cheras. It's a bit tricky getting there though. I myself haven't blogged about it. But it's truly divine. Much better than the famed Chan Sow Lin fish head in my opinion.
ciao, kurt
