some scary fish

Come to think of it, I have looked at these salted fish all my life and I've never thought of them as Ghost Fish. But all of a sudden, I realize how apt the description is! :)
Salted fish is very much a part of the Chinese cuisine. Everyone loves a dish with some salted fish, even if the salted fish is broken into small pieces and spread over a vegetable dish.
What many of us are afraid of is the smell, especially when we buy and keep the fish in our car. The smell would stay there "forever", just like how the durian permeates the car air conditioning system.
