I'll admit that I'd never heard of pecha kucha before the arts folks at British Council Malaysia invited me to present at the next round, which will be staged at The Annexe Gallery, Central Market Annexe (behind KL's Central Market) next Saturday.
Started in Tokyo by an architectural firm, pecha kucha is an antidote to boring, long-winded powerpoint presentations, and it's staged in over a hundred cities around the world. Twenty images (Dave's images, in my case) and just twenty seconds to talk about each image (no cheating - image display is computerized). Yikes! But I think it will be fun and I'm very honored to be presenting with these other folks.
July 12, 8-10pm. We'd love to see you there.
