Is Malaysian food finally getting its due?
Locals, any comments on accuracy and/or choice of venues?

Hey Robyn, I am so happy to read this article. It's about time the world takes notice about this amazing cuisine.
I sent an email to the editor; the first sentence is wrong. I believe he meant curry leaves or laksa leaves --"...and flecked with laksa, a spicy-bitter green herb..." Austin from Real Thai asked me about that too.

Finally recognition, even though it's just Malacca and Penang. Glad to see Donald and Lily Tan's place being featured as I reckon that's the best place for Nyonya cendol which we discovered long ago when they were just a small stall.

well, about time! Don't know what they mean about cendol though - cendol everywhere comes with gula melaka. Cendol without gula melaka where got meaning-one?
