What a way to wrap up five weeks of travel -- this afternoon we're heading up to Napa, to attend Culinary Institute of America at Greystone's 12th Annual Worlds of Flavor conference. The topics of this year's conference are ones that are near and dear to our hearts: World Street Food and World Comfort Food.
We're looking forward to catching up with old friends and making new ones. And I'm hoping to blog from the conference, if I can tear time away from the packed schedule of talks, demos, and workshops -- so stay tuned.
Looking forward to your coming posts!!

Seems like the new in thing these days to "discover" (at least to many North Americans) are street foods and pork belly.

i find it awkward that north americans are just barely embracing their ethnic cuisines.
but too much media,& pr. also it's the 1% of the population, that are somewhat knowledgeable of food around the world, food with origin.
still got a long way to go.
