Dried Shrimp (Pulau Ketam, Malaysia), 2009
Old Manali Loom (Himachal Pradesh, India), 2009
Cholon Lunch (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam), 2008
I hesitate to shill on EatingAsia but rent, veterinary bills, and road tolls don't pay themselves, and there's not a lot of advertising on this blog. (Not that we haven't been approached but somehow we just can't bring ourselves to let an ad for bottled 'Asian sauces' share space with musings on and photos of real food.)
So, here's the deal. If you've ever admired the photos on this site and thought one or two might look good stuck behind glass and hung on a wall (they do! take our word for it!), you can now satisfy your curiosity by hopping over to Photoshelter, where David Hagerman originals can be purchased in a range of sizes and forms (wallet photos or fridge magnets, anyone?).
This applies to any of the images in Dave's galleries (see the link on our sidebar). There's markets and street food and ingredients but more than food too, including some lovely stuff from old Manali (north India), Bali, and China's Sichuan province.
Anyone can view the galleries but to make a purchase you'll have to register with Photoshelter (don't worry, they won't spam you -- sign up for a free buyer's account here). Then open a gallery, click on a photo, and a price list will appear. Payment is with a credit card, via Paypal.
Want an image you don't see in the galleries? Want something from Dave's photo blog Sky Blue Sky, here, or his professional website, here? Contact the photographer himself via email (see 'Contact' on his photo blog), Facebook (his page, here) or Twitter (his account, here).
Thanks folks.
Very pretty. Ever come to Singapore? We will make a good picture place

Awesome. Can't wait until I have a wall to hang these on.
You might want to give the link to open a buyer account--it wasn't immediately obvious to me (it looks like you have to pay to open an account).
For other readers, the free buyer account can be opened here: https://www.photoshelter.com/signup/signup/free

Brilliant! Love Dave's work. Will need to set up a new pad after we're done vagabonding. Will browse for a few candidates for the walls.
