Banh da, delicious chewy rice noodles made with green tea
A good pho is a great thing, but the iconic Vietnamese noodle soup is far from our favorite thing to eat when we're traveling in the country. Even up north in Hanoi, the home of pho, we can always find something else to distract our palates. On our trip to Hanoi last month, in fact, we didn't eat a single pho.
But we did eat a load of other tasty noodle specialties. Read all about them, and view Dave's mouthwatering slideshow, in our most recent article for Zester Daily, here. And if you're heading over to Vietnam or anywhere else in southeast Asia and are new to this site since April, you may want to have a look at our article on eating street food safely in the region while you're at it.
It looks like Char Kway Teow or Pad Thai!
